January 2012 brings us to the beginning of a new year of recruitment for the student intake for October!
We only accept a few students each year and so those who are able to apply early in the year are able to secure their special place for the October Entry.
Christmas is always a special time and our end of term party was a delight of cake and wine and happy festive faces!
This January weekend we find our First Year group exploring a most important aspect of homeopathy which is case taking and the first prescription process. The differences between acute and chronic case work is considered and then a fascinating aspect of homeopathy and one which will lay the foundation for all their future homeopathic understanding – potency and the understanding of Classical methodology. With lots of new remedies and things to learn we will also explore the central nervous system.
This month finds our Second Year students learning about the fascinating subject of Miasm and disease – beginning to understand a therapeutic approach to prescribing and taking an in depth look at acute case work.
New remedies are introduced and Medical Sciences finds our students learning to recognise and treat a wide range of skin conditions .
Our Third Year group will also consider the implications to heath of the aging process. Kidney disease and remedies suitable for treatment of those conditions are considered. Saturday find this group taking a in depth look at the hormonal system and menopause problems and how to treat these conditions.-
Our Fourth Year students consider anaemia and blood disorders, discover new remedies and their areas of application and are introduced to the problems which may occur with the disabled or immobile patient.
Saturday finds this group introduced to autism – considering all aspects of this area and the homeopathic approach to this distressing state. New provings and methodologies conclude this weekend and we hope that again the weather will be kind to all our students many of who travel from afar to join us each month.
Why not come and join us?
